I haven't posted in a loooong time and so much has happened!
Natalie finished up her last day of preschool! YAY and BOOOOO HOOOOO! I was there on one of the last days to give the teachers their end of the year gift from the kids, play with them at water day and help with lunch.
This years ceiling tile:
Sorry for the weird angle, it was obviously on it's side. haha
Last years:
They did water day last year too and it is soo much fun for the kids! They had two water tables set up, two little pools, a sprinkler, bubbles and chalk.
I had such a hard time leaving as I knew it would be the last time I would see them as a parent of one of their students. We are going to miss them sooo much! Natalie had such a wonderful experience and I seriously could not have hand chosen better teachers to kick off her school years. How do you begin to thank the first people you ever trusted with your child? The first people besides us to teach her about her world? How do you even begin to thank someone for loving your child enough to email on the weekends and breaks just to "check in"? I don't know how to even put into words how much we appreciate their dedication and patience. So as underrated as it sounds..... Thank you to Ms. Sue and Ms. Jan!
Natalie isn't the only one who ended a program this year. We had Alyssa in a Little Gym class for one of their semesters and she LOVED it. As in, talked about it constantly, started doing weird acrobatics off of the couch and chairs, talked about her friends and of course about Ms. Charlotte. Seriously, she talked more about her than anything else that was going on in life. Example:
Me: Alyssa you need to wait your turn for the slide ok?
Alyssa: OH! Like with Ms. Charlotte?
Me: Yes, just like that.
I had this conversation about everything...EVERYTHING. hahaha
The infamous Ms. Charlotte!
I can't complain at all though. What a wonderful first independent class experience for her. She had a blast at every single class and learned SO much about how to act in a large group. The instructors are super patient and seem to understand how to let children just be....well, children. ;) I highly recommend it!
At her last class they did a show. Cliff took the morning off and off we went to watch mini proudly strut and show off her stuff for us. She was so excited when she realized that Daddy was going to be there. I love that he understands that although it's only a 1 hour show at a kids gym, that it is the center of her world. She was so over the moon that he was there and the preggo hormones in me almost had me in tears a few times. Geez. <3
After receiving her medal she proudly took this pose and yelled "TA-DA!"
I know that there has been so many other fun things that have happened since the last time I posted but my mind is kind of mommy mush after the last weeks of school. hahaha
Our final fun thing that has happened is that we had a gender scan done on baby Free 3.0 (thanks for that one Tiff)
I know you all didn't know we had it in us but come November our baby BOY will be here!
Hard to believe that just 8 weeks earlier he looked like this.
What a fun moment it was to find out we were going to give the girls a brother! We go for our big ultrasound next Friday so I will update if there is anything worth updating. It all feels very real now and I am SO, SO, SO excited to meet our little man. giggle Move over pink..... We are adding in some blue! WOOT!
I teared up so many times while reading this. I guess that's something that parent's like us understand, lol!
ReplyDeleteWoot for boys and I loved Natalie's end of the year tribute and Alyssa's "ta da" cracked. me. up! lol! Love them AND your little squishy Free 3.0 ;) <3
